Projekt Xero started as a bi-product of the Face The Music Podcast in August 2025. Face The Music had planned an episode dedicated to the impact and legacy of Linkin Park, complete with a round table discussion episode, and a one-off live performance celebrating the bands music. Matt (of FTM Podcast, also our lead guitarist) hand picked all members of Projekt Xero to join him on stage for this single performance.

During rehearsals leading up to the show, we all talked and decided that we were loving working together and performing this music so much, that once simply was not enough. We came up with a band name, Projekt Xero, paying tribute to the legendary Projekt Revolution tours, as well as Xero, the bands original name, predating even Chester Bennington.

The first show for us felt like we were doing something bigger than ourselves. Over 100 people showed up and packed a very small bar, the podcast episode was great, and show after show, we expanded our sets, we’ve had amazing experiences and opportunities, and we are continuing to grow.

Our goal is to continuously pay tribute to the band as fans first. We deliver our performances with the passion and energy we still feel listening to Linkin Parks music all these years later and we consider every show we play to be a celebration of that music. We play songs from all albums, so whether you are a fan of the hits or the deeper cuts, when you come celebrate the bands legacy with us live, you’ll go home happy.
